Program activities include seminars, conferences, speakers, study
abroad opportunities, international film series and arts activities,
publications, internships and field trips. Through each of these
opportunities, the scholars are re-introduced to the world they are
living in with an international perspective. Academic credit may be

Internships are available with organizations across a web of global companies in the United States and abroad. Through the Graves Center for Calling and Career at Georgetown College, students will identify their interests and receive guidance in choosing an appropriate internship.

Global Scholars can enhance their undergraduate experience through a number of overseas experiences.
The Oxford Tutorial Program: Through our partnership with Regent’s Park College of the University of Oxford in England, Global Scholars may apply to enroll in tutorials throughout the University, taking the same courses of study with the same faculty as do formally matriculated Oxford students.
Language and Culture in Chile: Scholars interested in developing their Spanish-speaking skills may elect to spend ninety days in Chile auditing classes and learning Chilean culture.
Hong Kong Baptist University: Georgetown College's network extends to China, where Global Scholars can attend Hong Kong Baptist University and explore the city known as “the place where the East meets the West."
Note: Georgetown College has multiple options for students interested in study abroad. Additional programs are available through our International Programs Office.“
